Lately, the supply problems of tubes have been added, especially those of Russian production for reasons that unfortunately we all know

This is only the last of the reasons of the supply difficulties, which is added to various others, including the destruction due to a fire of one of the largest Chinese tubes factories, which had already caused delays and unavailability and which has not yet resumed. production.

We would therefore like to give you an update on availability:

Sovtek and Electro Harmonix

The factory, due to the low availability of raw materials, already had production difficulties, with delivery times that in the last 6 months have become very long. Both brands are produced in St. Petersburg, so these difficulties also add to the problem of difficult commercial relations with Russia.

The purchases, which have not been blocked for purchases through the US, will however be heavily taxed as a result of the trade sanctions given by the war in Ukraine.

At the moment the availability in our warehouse is extremely limited. We have long pending orders with the supplier, but we don’t know at what price they will be delivered. We expect a major increase and will keep you informed as soon as we know more.

Tube Amp Doctor

Most of the models proposed by TAD are produced by other factories / brands and selected and matched by them.

Some models are produced specifically for TAD in different factories around the world, but here too we have received confirmations of increased prices and limited models in the assortment.

The prices of what is available in stock are confirmed as per the current price list, but we already know that from the next arrival the prices will be different and the price list will be published as soon as possible.

Good news arrived a few days ago …  unfortunately together with a new price list … Many of the tubes that had supply problems will now be produced in a new RED BASE series – We have already introduced some models of the RED BASE series, with great success. The new price list adds other models to the range and we will be able to give you more information very soon.

JJ Electronic

Here the situation is slightly better with regards to availability.

JJ is a manufacturer and is in Europe. So many of the problems are avoided. Unfortunately, the increases in raw materials and energy for production cannot be avoided. Each arrival therefore has a price adjustment. But at least here at the moment we don’t have big problems of availability.
